Did You Know John Oates Wanted This Famous Song To Be Reggae?

Back in the early 80’s John Oates had just gotten back from Jamaica and was inspired.

He was on a mission to have Hall & Oates do a reggae song and that was ‘Maneater’. Obviously that didn’t happen and ultimately the original version reached the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 100 charts back in December of 1982.

Over 40 Years later his wish came though.
