A New Water Shuttle Connecting Alameda And Oakland Free Of Charge

The planned water taxi service crossing the estuary that separates Oakland and Alameda will start operating July 17. The service, expected to last two years, will work as a temporary solution until a permanent pedestrian and cyclable bridge is built, and will operate between public docks in Alameda’s Bohol Circle Immigrant Park and Oakland’s Jack London Square.
