A big rig hauling chocolate caught fire Friday morning near Tracy, the California highway said.
The fire was reported around 6:20 a.m. on westbound interstate 580 at grant line road.
It took over three hours to put out the fire and clear the area. The right lane of the freeway was closed until just before 10 a.m., CHP said. There were no reports of injuries.
