Many of us love KFC for their delicious fried chicken, and now we have another reason to love them...they're now serving donuts at several of their locations!
Earlier this week, the fried chicken chain announced that they were testing their new "Chicken and Donuts" menu items! They are testing it out for a limited time at over 40 locations in Norfolk, Richmond, Virginia, and Pittsburgh.
They have two options: a sandwich with fried chicken between two glazed donuts, and a basket of chicken tenders or chicken on the bone along with one or two glazed donuts.
As far as pricing, the chicken-and-donut meal will cost $5.50 for one donut and $7.50 for two donuts. The sandwich costs $6, or you can get it as a combo meal for $8.
This sounds like a very intriguing combo to some, and a questionable one to others! If you want to try the donut along with any other meal, you can add it for just $1!
According to a representative, the donuts will already be cooked when they arrive at stores, and when a customer orders one, it will then be dipped into a fryer and glazed with a yummy vanilla icing. This will ensure that they are always hot and fresh!
Based on social media, it seems that this has been a huge hit so far and is trending at all locations it's offered at!
