A young Oakland Athletics fan named Loren Jade Smith, who lost his A's memorabilia in the fires in the North Bay sent a letter to A's President, Dave Kaval, and that letter has gone viral.
Now, Loren is learning that not only are the A's going to hook him up with some swag, but other MLB teams heard about his story and THEY want to take care of him. He's heard from not just the A's but also the Tampa Bay Rays, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers, the New York Mets, the Houston Astros, the San Diego Padres, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Seattle Mariners, and more!
Here's another cool thing. A bunch of fans are also stepping up and saying "Hey, I've got some cool stuff that Loren might like" and donating their own personal collection items.
