One of my favorite things about “American Idol” when I used to watch was the bad auditions. One of the worst auditions in the history of the show was William Hung who was a UC Berkeley student who auditioned with Ricky Martin’s “She Bangs” where he was actually so bad that he was able to make a (short) career out of it!
Well now American Idol is saying that they are done with airing the bad auditions and the show will only broadcast the “good” auditions. Producers of the show say they want to stay away of the “cheap sensationalism.”
American Idol debuts March 11th on ABC.
