We have all certainly heard about people that were victims of the North Bay fires and how some people have lost their homes or maybe you've heard stories about people whose pets ran away due to fear when the fires started.
There is a man in Fountaingrove who is SO determined to reunite as many lost animals with their owners as he can, that every night, he leaves food out for these animals hoping to catch them so he can reunite them with their owners.
The man's name is Dave Yarger and apparently EVERY SINGLE NIGHT he will put food out with (totally humane) traps, coupled with motion sensor cameras and he either catches the animals in person or on camera and does everything in his power to reunite them with their owners.
Residents in Fountaingrove are calling him "'Trapper' Dave Yarger"!
He said he just loves animals (mostly cats) and wants to reunite as many of these displaced animals with their owners as he can.

"I love cats," said Dave, who still spends every night in the fire zone, luring lost animals and reuniting them with their people. Amazing. Seriously. #abc7now #sonomastrong pic.twitter.com/KY63PoyyJv— Wayne Freedman (@WayneFreedman) January 24, 2018
