Tuesday morning, 16 Olympic athletes, left SFO and headed to the Olympic Winter Games and boarded a 12-hour flight to Seoul, South Korea.
A couple of the athletes included U.S. Olympic freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy, Ashley Caldwell, Maggie Voisin, Darian Stevens, Caroline Claire, Vincent Zhou and Madison Olsen.
A message board that customers and employees have been signing all week was on display wishing Team USA good luck. The gate area was also decorated for the event where athletes and dignitaries made short speeches before the flight boarded.
In case you were wondering what class Olympic athletes sit in while flying to the Olympics....they sit in economy but can use their miles (like the rest of us) to upgrade.
