Is your Bay Area teen going to prom and in need of a dress?

If you are a teen going to prom or maybe you know a teen that is going to prom and you live in the Bay Area, there is a REALLY great program we want you to know about!

Carly Glasson is a junior at San Ramon Valley High School and she wants to make sure that every girl can go to prom, even if they can't afford a prom dress.

Carly started to collect donated dresses and partnered with the founder of East Bay Dress Day, which is a non-profit which offers donated prom dresses to teens.

Together, they combined their inventory, found a storefront in Alamo, and will open a pop-up shop for prom dresses. The store will be open the 1st 2 weekends in March.

Donations are still coming in. If you have a dress, and you want to donate, you can drop it off at Alamo Plaza. That's also where you can go to pick a dress up.

Thank you Carly!
