MUNI is following closely in the footsteps of BART as they now have five new cars in service! They are brand new light-rail cars and so far people are REALLY impressed!
The first car ran on the J-Church line earlier this week. The cars aren't fancy per se but they have a really neat modern look and feel. They have automated video screens announcing the next stop, loudspeakers you can actually hear and bright red and blue seating along the interior sides.
