A stolen car ended up (somehow) on the ROOF of a home in Hayward on Tuesday night! Luckily no one in the house was injured.
The residents in the house heard a noise and their alarm went off but they thought a deer had tripped the alarm and didn't think much of it.
It wasn't until 9am the next day that a passerby called in the incident to Hayward police!
Authorities believe the car was heading down Fairview when it hit a guard rail and launched into the home.
The driver fled the scene and a screwdriver was found in the ignition.
