Why Driving In The Bay Area Is About To Get More Expensive!

posted by Carolyn McArdle -

Driving is about to get more expensive this summer season. Oil prices have hit their highest point in three years and are expected to climb even higher!

The U.S. daily national average for regular gasoline is at $2.81 per gallon, up over 40 cents from the same time last year.

Thirteen percent of gas stations in the US are charging over $3 a gallon according to AAA.

The western United States, plus Connecticut and Pennsylvania are paying the most at the pump, while prices are lowest on the East Coast.
