BART has just announced that they have a second batch of rail cars that will be operational next week! The new rail car is a 10-car train and it's already passed all necessary tests and is ready to go!
There is already one 10-car train running, so this will be the second one in operation.
The new trains will run on the Richmond-Fremont line and the Warm Springs-Daly City line. Officials expect to have 80 new cars in service by the end of the year, and 176 by the middle of 2019.
