Remember the days where you used to be able to buy beer right from your seat at baseball games? If you don't remember, you must be under the age of 40.
Back in the 80's, this was a thing. You would watch the game. A concession worker would have a tray full of cold beers. You'd fork over a few bucks and, without even having to leave your seat, you now have a cold beer in your hands.
This awesome perk is now back at the Oakland Coliseum for A's games!
"We are excited to be one of the first teams in California to offer this amenity to our fans once again," said A's President Dave Kaval in a statement.
The new service will help alleviate congestion at concession stands, plus it's convenient to fans absorbed in game play.
The San Diego Padres narrowly beat the A's to the punch; they reintroduced the service at the end of May.
We say "yay Oakland A's!"
