We've all been there. You buy an avocado at the store, you bring it home, a couple of days later you cut into it and boom....it's gone bad.
There is a company in California that has come up with a way to use an invisible plant-based film that reinforces the avocado's own skin which will help keep it ripe (and good!) for longer!
It's a company called Apeel Sciences and while right now they are starting to use this technology in Costco, they plan to roll it out to other stores and to also use the same technology on nectarines and asparagus.
