We know it's expensive to live in the Bay Area and the state of California in general and you hear about people moving out of the state all the time.
But where are they going?
According to a new report, Las Vegas is at the top of their list, followed by New York City and Phoenix.
And, it's no surprise, people are leaving mostly for less expensive housing markets and high job-growth areas.
Just to put it in perspective for you, homes on the market in March 2017 in California averaged $720,000. That's compared to $250,000 nationally.
