We are kind of trend-setters in the Bay Area when it comes to new food and drinks and there is a new drink that people are loving but the name might turn you off.
It's cheese tea.
Stay with us on this one. Picture black or green tea. And then, like foam on top of a beer, it is it’s not cheddar cheese or Velveeta on top of tea, it’s a powdered cream cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and a bit of salt for flavor.
There is a really popular tea house in the Bay Area called Steap and they offer this cheese tea. If you try it, let us know what you think!
