Amazing Story Of How A Carr Fire Evacuee Was Reunited With Her Horse!

Teri Fox of Redding was just one of many evacuee's of the Carr fire in Redding. When it came time to evacuate, she was trying to load her horses into a trailer but her 3-year-old mare, Elli, would not get in the trailer.

Teri had to make the tough decision to leave her behind.

A few days later, someone told Teri to watch a video that was on the news about a runaway horse that crews were trying to catch. Teri immediately recognized the horse as Elli!

She was able to track her down through residents in the area and reunite with her horse!

Remarkably, Elli received a couple of lacerations and punctures but her vet said she's going to be just fine.

We are so happy for the both of you!
