Wearing jersey signed by Make-A-Wish kid, A’s slugger hits massive home run

Before the A’s 9-0 victory over the Texas Rangers Monday night, a group of kids from the Make-A-Wish foundation got the chance to take the field with the club prior to the game.

The A's Khris Davis decided to turn the tables when 10-year-old Anthony Slocumb asked for his signature. Davis signed Slocumb’s shirt, but then asked Slocumb to sign the back of his A’s jersey.

Then Khris went out and smashed a home run while wearing the jersey that Slocumb had signed!

It was truly a great night for all!
