Nancy and her sister, front woman Ann Wilson, placed the band on hiatus in 2016 after a family dispute led to a rift between the siblings.
"I've gotta say, it's looking really good for a Heart reunion tour," Nancy told the Let There Be Talk podcast. "There's a big offer up there on the table. Me and Ann are talking, so we'll keep talking."
The sisters went their separate ways after Ann's husband, Dean Wetter, was accused of assaulting Nancy's teenage sons backstage at a Heart concert in 2016. Wetter pleaded guilty to charges stemming from the incident the following spring.
Reports around the sisters' clash said at the time that the pair was not talking at all over the last few weeks of their last tour with Heart. It was the first time in their career the famously close-knit siblings were at odds for a long period of time.
Nancy once described the final shows of the tour as "excruciating," and admitted that she considered going home rather than continue performing alongside Ann.
Still, even while they weren't talking over Heart's hiatus, both sisters acknowledged that they wanted to reconcile — they just weren't sure if they could do it.
"I've been sort of [trying] for a while [to reconnect with Ann], but she was kind of busy and, I think, scared to talk," Nancy said. "And I kind of said, 'I'm not ever gonna confront you about anything, but there is this huge offer on the table, so we should talk — just the two of us.' So we're in that process right now. It's kind of exciting."
Ann acknowledged last month that she and Nancy were talking again. But she insisted that money wouldn't be a factor in a reunion.
"I will never agree to going back out there in a mechanical, money grab-type way," Ann said. "At this point in my life, I'm not going to do that. I'm going to make every minute count and make it real. So we'll talk and we'll figure out if we can figure out a fresh cool way."
"Heart was conceived in an atmosphere of idealism," Ann continued. "That's how it has to be re-conceived now for me to be interested in doing it. So it's possible."
