The San Francisco International Airport just celebrated the completion of a 351 room, 12 story Hyatt hotel on the airport grounds. But hotels open all the time in the Bay Area, so why the excitement with this one?
It's basically next to a runway at SFO. The hotel will be located right next to the international terminal and will open in July 2019.
It will offer more than 14,000 square feet of meeting space, a 70-seat three-meal restaurant, two bars, 24-hour in-room dining, a grab-and-go market, Hyatt StayFit Gym, yoga room and massage treatment room.
The hotel's roadway entrance will face the airport, with the noses of big jets peering over blast fencing from the apron. Guests arriving by road will take elevators up to the fourth floor lobby.
