Toddler shreds $1,000 cash of parents' savings

A Utah family is in disbelief this morning after their toddler somehow got his hands on $1000 cash that the family had saved somewhere in the house and put the money through a shredder!

The family had saved the money to buy season football tickets! They had been saving up for a year. They went to get the money out of the envelope to buy the tickets which they thought they had put in a drawer and it wasn't there. They looked EVERYWHERE and then they looked in the shredder......Yep. There it was. They knew immediately it was their 2 year-old son, Leo.

Why did this happen? Mom usually lets Leo help her shred the bills when she is paying bills and he thinks it's  "fun."

Leo's dad said "someday, this will actually be funny."

Jack and Carolyn talked about it on the air! Listen here:
