The Alameda Houseboat Where Tom Hanks Once Lived Is Up For Sale!

Want to buy the houseboat that Tom Hanks used to live in when he was growing up in the Bay Area? It's for sale!

It's a 1,152-square feet houseboat with two bedrooms and one-and-a-half bathrooms.

The home's ownership was verified by the actor, who tweeted on Wednesday that he (as a teenager), his father, and his stepmother Frances "lived on this from '73-'76."

It has since been painted, carpeted, and refurbished "especially for the water-loving buyer," and is listed for $600,000.
