If you've missed (insert sarcastic voice here) seeing those scooters on what seems like every street corner in San Francisco that were banned a couple of months ago due to complaints, starting today, they are back.
Two contracts have been awarded to two different scooter companies...625 scooters each and each company has promised that they would honor the safety issues put in to make sure it is safe.
The contracts are with Scoot and Skip.
This will be a pilot program for a year and after six months they are going to review.
If everything runs smoothly, 2,500 scooters will be open for use.
