If you are tired of resetting your clock twice a year, clearly you aren't alone. California voters passed Prop. 7 Tuesday night which calls for year-round daylight saving time.
62% of voters favored Proposition 7.
Now, this is step 1. We still need a two-thirds vote from the state Legislature and a change in federal law to take effect.
Fun fact: The reason for implementing daylight saving was to preserve energy during World War I.
