A sixth-grade student in Buffalo, New York threw her bus driver under the bus after a fender bender near a college.
Student Andrew Sipowicz said he arrived home near campus to find his car had been hit and damaged. There was a note on the windshield from a passenger on First Student Bus 449.
"(The driver) was trying to pull off and hit the car," the note said. "She hit and run, She tried to vear over and squeeze through but couldn't.
"She made a dent and I saw what happened."
The note was signed: "A 6th grader at Houghten Academy." It even included an illustration of the bus.
Chris Kemper, a spokesperson for First Student, said the company in investigating the incident, and has begun the process of terminating the driver involved. He added the company will pay for repairs to Sipowicz's car, as well as the cost of a rental vehicle.
