You’ve certainly heard about BART incorporating more and more of their new trains into rotation but what we don’t know yet is what are they doing with the OLD trains when they take them out of service?
There are a few options and the BART board is having a meeting on Thursday to talk about those options. Things like donating them to museums, turning the cars into homeless shelters, mobile classrooms or even turning them into container cart coffee shops….those are all things they will be looking at!
