There’s an old house standing on the piece of land where San Jose State would like to build a new science center. The house was built in 1904, and has some historic significance.
Instead of demolishing the 6,500 square foot, 200 ton house, they’re going to move it! Starting early Saturday morning parts of Fourth and San Fernando streets in Jan Jose will be closed for the eight hour trip to it's new location on South 10th Street.
