Tesla made an announcement that they are cutting their full-time workforce by 7%....that equates to roughly 3,000 employees.
CEO Elon Musk says the company is up against massive competitors and the company has to work "much harder than other manufacturers to survive while building affordable, sustainable products."
There are about 35,000 employees at Tesla world-wide. The Fremont plant has 10,000 employees and that 7% number will affect the employees world-wide but obviously the Fremont plant will be affected in some way.
