Permanent Fix On The Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Will Start This Week!

Crews have finished a temporary repair to the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge and a permanent fix is expected to get underway on Monday.

This comes after concrete chunks crashed down Thursday, hitting a car and causing traffic chaos.

Crews are expected to begin the permanent fix this week while working in the overnight hours to avoid an impact on the commute.

Caltrans did not say how long the repairs should last, however, it will cost $300,000.
