A driver was cited for not cleaning the snow off of their car in Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol tweeted a picture of the car that only had one section of the windshield and the driver side door window wiped off so the driver could see the road.
The tweet was captioned, "Don’t be this person when it snows. Please. Please. Please. Yes, they were cited. Sure, maybe the snow would blow off — onto someone else’s car. Clean off your vehicles BEFORE you hit the road.”
Some states have laws in place that require you to remove snow from your car before you drive. In Minnesota, you could be held responsible if snow or ice flying from your car damages someone else's property.
