The San Francisco Bay Area is expected to get a heavy dose of rain on Friday when an atmospheric river sweeps the region!
The system will be mild compared to winter storms, and moderate for a spring event.
Urban areas to the south in the San Jose Area are forecast to see about a half-inch, while San Francisco and its suburbs could see upwards of an inch. The North Bay is likely to see the heaviest drenching with 1.5 inches projected in the valleys and 3 inches in coastal regions.
