Expect to see more BART police on station platforms and trains over the next few weeks. BART says it's cracking down on rule breakers, in an attempt to make riders feel safe.
From fare evaders who don't have a ticket and jump the gates to crime on trains, we can all agree, having a bigger presence of BART police is a good thing!
BART has heard the complaints from riders and is responding with an increased presence of officers and fare inspectors, many who will be working overtime even on their days off.
