Gas prices are going up in the Bay Area just in time for spring break and summer vacation.
AAA says the average price for a gallon of regular is now $2.75 -- that's up 11% in the last month.
Prices are highest in California, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Alaska.
In California alone, the statewide average is $3.83 a gallon.
Analysts blame the price hikes on unplanned refinery maintenance at several locations.
