Dave Chappelle was among several comedians to rally in San Francisco Tuesday to save the Punch Line comedy club.
The Punch Line Comedy Club is being forced to close its doors this summer after being unable to renew its lease with the current property owner.
The comedy club is now searching for a new home.
Chapelle said that room is special to him: it's the last place he saw the late Robin Williams. It's also the room where he learned he was having his first child.
The comedy club first opened in 1978.
