Morehouse college graduate and Bay Area native Casey Roquemore describes his graduation ceremony as life-changing.
Commencement speaker Robert F. Smith pledged to pay off student loans for the entire class of 2019. That's for nearly 400 young men.
Smith is the CEO of Vista Equity Partners, which has an office in San Francisco. According to Forbes Magazine, he is the richest African American in the country.
Roquemore graduated with a degree in business administration and says he owed nearly $160,000 in student loans.
Roquemore hopes to pay it forward to give others the same relief he's now experiencing.
