When it comes to those annoying robocalls we get at the worst possible time, there might be some relief in sight. Yesterday the Federal Communications Commission ruled that phone companies will be permitted to block junk calls to your phone without you having to ask them to do so. 4.7 billion robocalls were placed in the U.S. last month alone. The F.C.C. left it up to the phone companies weather or not to charge for the service.
