A team of Valley Christian High School students competed for a $1 million prize sponsored by NOAA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and won!
They took home $800K and said they are going to give it back to the science department at their San Jose school.
They built a device that would basically detect pollution on it's own on the ocean floor. They competed against scientists and other professionals!
