Howard University in Washington DC is bringing back its golf teams, thanks to Steph Curry’s generosity. On a campus visit last January, Howard senior Otis Ferguson was chatting with Curry, and mentioned that Howard U. has been without a golf team for decades. On Monday Curry announced that he’ll finance men’s and women’s golf teams at Howard for the next six years. Now the university is busy recruiting coaches and players for their new Division 1 golf teams.
