A small plane crashed Thursday night around 6pm into the water off the coast of Half Moon Bay.
The plane crashed about five miles outside of Half Moon Bay Harbor and nine miles south.
The Federal Aviation Administration Pacific Division says that two people were on board at the time and got out of the plane.
The San Mateo County Sheriff’s say the two were rescued with no injuries, but will be taken to a local hospital to be evaluated.
Before the crash, the Beechraft was flying along with another plane.
The other plane called in the crash to air traffic control and the Coast Guard.
Jack and Carolyn talked about it on the air. Listen below:
Look at this unbelievable footage of the pilot David Lesh, when they see the Coast Guard come in for the rescue. His friend was flying near them when they crashed, circled around, and was able to guide USCG to their location.
