If you don't know by now, we had a 4.5 earthquake in the Bay Area on Monday night. It was centered in Walnut Creek near the Pleasant Hill BART station.
There had been a 2.5 quake earlier that evening and the 4.5 quake was followed by several other (smaller) earthquakes.
Seismologists say a quake of that size does not mean a bigger earthquake is on the way.
Carolyn McArdle says it woke her up out of a dead sleep and she had a hard time going back to sleep in Concord. Jack was in bed in Novato and said he didn't feel it at all!
