A Vacaville family is alive this morning after their house caught fire in the middle of the night and their 6-year-old black lab, Maggie, barked and woke them up.
Jennifer Rice says she doesn't know how the fire started but she fully realizes that if it weren't for her dog barking and waking them up, they might not have gotten out alive. Jennifer, her husband and their two kids were asleep at the time.
