People Reveal Their Strange Thanksgiving Dishes!

While some people stick to tradition on Thanksgiving, others will go beyond the typical turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes meal.

Curious about what ends up on the holiday table, a Twitter user asked for "weird inexplicable retro family recipes" that get served up at this time of the year.

Delish took a look at the responses, and the social media site delivered. Maya Kosoff kicked the thread off with what her family calls "seafoam salad," which is chock full of lime Jell-O, canned pears, cream cheese, and Cool Whip.

Jell-O came up often, with another user adding how his family would serve it on a bed of iceberg lettuce along with a side of mayo. Only photos can properly explain the bologna cake.

What family dishes do you serve at Thanksgiving that could be considered strange to others?

Jack and Carolyn talked about it on the air! Listen below
