The Oakland Zoo, like many businesses in the Bay Area had to close due to the coronavirus. With no ticket sales, there isn’t any revenue coming in, which left everyone wondering “how are they going to pay for the food and care for the animals during the closure?”
Enter the good residents of the Bay Area who have donated over $14,000 to the Oakland Zoo since the coronavirus pandemic broke out!
Now the animals will continue to be fed exactly what they should be eating and they will have plenty of good care going forward.
The zoo of course needs donations to continue. If you or someone you know can spare a couple of extra dollars, the zoo would gladly accept. You can make a donation, here.
