Like so many others, Tien Lam’s two restaurants in Novato, Bacon and Pearl, began to struggle when the shelter in place began in the Bay Area. He and his family are now making care packages with the food in his freezer.
Volunteers deliver the packages to the disabled,elderly, and food insecure families in Marin County. At first Lam paid for the food and supplies out of his pocket. But thanks to social media donations have begun to pour in…over $9,000 so far!
