Alison Crawford Is a part time EMT in the North Bay who works one 12-hour shift a week in addition to her full-time job AND being a full-time mother and wife. She said she is definitely in contact with people who have the coronavirus when on the job.
When Allison comes home at night after a shift to her husband and her 7-year-old daughter, she begins the process of sanitizing her clothes and her body so that there is no risk of spreading COVID-19 to her family. The process that she goes through to sanitize herself before coming in contact with her husband or her 7-year-old is quite extensive. Take Alison and multiply her by every single EMT, paramedic, doctor, nurse or any other healthcare professional.
We can't say it enough, "thank you" to ALL of our healthcare professionals. You are truly heroes in our eyes!
