It was an intense night on American Idol on Sunday night as two performers battled it out for a spot in the top 20. One of those performers is a Bay Area resident!
Grace Leer, 29, went to San Ramon Valley High School, she's a UC Berkeley grad and does technology sales here in the Bay Area!
She went head to head with Lauren Mascitti, 28, and the judges said they just couldn't make a decision on which of the two to advance to the top 20, so they left it up to the public to vote. (Results will be revealed on next Sunday's show).
Both girls lived in Nashville, grew up performing, and roomed together at their plush resort on "American Idol".
