When the coronavirus first hit, almost immediately comparisons were made between the pandemic we’re going through now, and the flu pandemic that hit the U.S in 1918. Well, meet the woman who’s survived BOTH.
Sylvia Goldsholl was born in 1911, and survived the Spanish flu pandemic when she was six. Fast forward to 2020 when she tested positive for COVID-19 at her New Jersey nursing home. She fought that off as well! How does she feel about being one of the very few her age that survived? “They knew I was a wonder” she said about her family. “I met their expectations. I represented them in a very well way.”
A 113-year-old woman in Spain has also survived after contracting CLOVID-19.
We want their antibodies!
