United Airlines is beginning to ramp up flights after the airline industry was hit hard by coronavirus.
The carrier is planning to add 25,000 flights in the month of August.
In Wednesday's announcement, United said, "While travel demand remains a fraction of what it was at the end of 2019, customers are slowly returning to flying, with a preference for leisure destinations, trips to reunite with friends and family, and getaways to places that encourage social distancing."
Even with the potential addition of these flights, United will still be flying at about half of its domestic capacity from 2019.
