Lots of baseball fans across the Bay Area are resigned to the fact that this year’s baseball season will be reduced to 60 games from the usual 162 game schedule. But what about the annual Bay Bridge Series? That’s about the only part of the schedule that will look normal.
The Giants and the A’s will play six games against each other this year. The two teams will go at it August 14th, 15th, and 16th in San Francisco. Then they’ll face each other again September 18th, 19th and 20th in Oakland.
There’s still a possibility that the two cross-bay rivals will be able to squeeze in three exhibition games before the season officially starts on July 23rd.
